Summer camp is in full swing and Rebekah is on the lookout daily for a mystery that needs solving. Currently, she's obsessed with staking out the lake and the rumored monster that may live there. When she spots a lone canoe with something strange within it, her thoughts grow wild with ideas about what this could mean and how it is that the canoe keeps disappearing.

There's a new girl at camp and Rebekah's mind and detective's notebook are filled with questions about her. Natasha is very mysterious and she certainly does not seem interested in making friends any time soon. And what's with that blood-red liquid that she drinks every day? Could she really be a vampire? Rebekah is determined to solve this mystery, even if she might feel slightly scared around the strange girl.

Rebekah and friends notice many things when they are playing hide and seek in the woods. When best friend Mouse stumbles into a giant paw print, the size of it shocks them.
