In "The Adom Chronicles," listeners meet the Adom family, a lively and loving group from Africa who have recently moved to a new city. The parents, Kwabena and Ama, are struggling to keep control of their three imaginative children, Kofi, Akosua, and Yaw. The children's powers are unusual—whatever they imagine comes to life. This leads to mayhem and hilarity in the Adom household on a daily basis. Kwabena and Ama can only speak a little English, which adds to the humor of the story as their sentences are never complete.

When local woman Deborah goes missing, her colleagues Adrian, Yvonne and Merriel are all left in shock. Gossip around the office begins to swirl – what could have happened to Deborah?
