We are Dan and Jo.

We are an interracial gay Christian couple based in Sydney Australia.

In amongst holding down full time jobs, catching up with people and planning a wedding in 2020, we have managed to record a podcast.

While the story of an Interracial gay Adventist couple might not be unique, it is one of the many diverse stories and lived experiences that can be found in the family of God.

We'd love for you to join us for about 20 to 30 minutes per week as we journey together and navigate our way through some important topics, conversations and life.

In this episode we begin sharing our story by responding to a message we received on Facebook.

• Identify what it actually means to struggle with our sexuality.
• Discuss the impact of discrimination on mental health and self worth.
• The significance of role models and visibility in church and society.

Dan and Jo continue to work through a message they received earlier in the year.

In this week's episode, Daniel and Jo come face to face with the clobber passages found in the Bible.

How do they reconcile their sexuality with what has traditionally been interpreted as very clear references to same sex activity?

Being an engaged same sex christian couple has brought a unique set off challenges for Dan and Jo. Not only are they trying to plan a fabulous event but they also want acknowledge their faith tradition and the part that God has played in their relationship.
