Senator Phil Fortunato was elected to the Senate to serve the 31st legislative district. The District includes parts of King and Pierce counties. Phil brings a wealth of private sector and legislative experience having served as the State Representative of the 47th District from 99-00. He has been a contractor for over 30 years, starting his first business at 18, and is currently a recognized expert in Clean Water Act compliance.

Vance spent two terms in the Washington State House of Representatives before becoming elected to the King County Council. He now serves as the Communications/External Affairs Manager in the King County Assessor. A frequent political commentator, Seattle Magazine has named Vance Seattle’s Most Influential People twice. In 2016 Vance, the Republican nominee for the US Senate left the GOP in 2017. He is now an independent, building a centrist alternative to our current system.
