We all know and love Naija Couture (aka @biblicallyaccuratebutchqueen) for his memes, hot takes and encyclopedic knowledge of music history and pop culture. Last month, I had the pleasure of sitting down with the New York-based DJ (by way of the rural South) just days after the 2024 election. Together we reflected on the state of the world, queer identities, rave culture, growing up in the 90’s, and his incredible journey from performance artist, musician, producer, DJ and online personality.
