An classic and sickening novel
I'm not one to be easily bothered by body horror but some of the descriptions in this book, more at the beginning, honestly made me feel a bit sick. This book is awesome and is the epitome of grim dark with a strikingly high amount of "wholesome-ish" moments. It fleshes out some characters like Honsou which is a big plus. I recommend reading Storm Of Iron before as there are multiple references to it throughout the story.
The narration was very good, there were some strange pauses in between sentences that didn't feel very natural but it was nothing too noticeable.
92/100 a must for the grim dark horror of the 40k setting.
