Texas Ranger Captain Rowdy Bates rides to Kansas to chase the rustler who stole his horse, Sugar. Marshal "one-eyed" Jack Black is urgently called to Apache Pass, Arizona, between Dos Cabezas and the Chiricahua Mountains to order a wagon train to turn back to avoid an impending hostile attack.
