I can tell the boss likes me, because I'm not dead. Bash is abrasive and acerbic, like some sort of alien love child between Michael Caine and Miss Hannigan. And maybe Ebenezer Scrooge. Bash is a little…anti-human race. But he’s not all bad. Sure, he's a little growly and he sets things on fire when he gets mad, but even villains need friends. And here? Bash is everybody's villain. Everybody’s but mine.

Unexpected and lot of fun nugget!
This is not the usual romance science fiction book. The hero is a very very grumpy one and he is no warrior. Just a quarry master. So in this book, do not expect big fights, nor grand intergalactic scheme. No, just the story of a normal guy who works in a quarry where human females work to support the building of there future homes. The hero does not like human females and is not shy to express it. The way he describes his feelings is hilarious. The female character is very strong despite her handicap and is not afraid of the quarry master. Her very joyful and enthusiastic view of the world is what will attract him. She is strong and very funny. The dialogues are also very humorous ! So I really recommend this book and will also buy the next volumes.
Finally, I would also like to give 5 stars to the speaker. He is excellent. His voice is low and growly and also very sexy!
