On the balcony of our gorgeous villa, I clink glasses with my handsome new husband, Owen Turner. As I gaze into his mysterious brown eyes, a shiver runs down my spine. I can barely believe it: true love, palm trees, turquoise sea, white sand.

Except last night, Owen and I had our first argument. My husband drank too much, and he said something that made me wonder if there's a darker side to the man I married. I remember the warnings from my family; they're worried he's only after my money. But Owen loves me, doesn't he?
This morning, I woke up early to go for a walk along the clifftops and clear my head. As I climb down the sandy steps to the lagoon, my heart hammers in my chest when I see a trail of blood spots.
At the bottom of the cliff is the body of a woman… who looks just like me.
