    Learning about French slavery practices that made a hero

    Nothing to dislike here. The Pulitzer was well deserved. Undersranding the motivation behind heroic action, rebellion against slavery, fighting for the force that freed black peoples of French territories, and seeing how Napoleon wasn’t in favor of such liberty for the black peope… it was all very enlightening. Very lovely biography, highly recommended

    great book with many historical details.

    great narration for this awesome book full of interesting historical details around this extraordinary life of Alex Dumas
