À propos de cette écoute
Rakefang finds Tupper Meadowsweet a young man by Flox reckoning, but he no longer fits in with his own people. Wild hair, stealthy grace, and foreign fashions make it obvious that he’s lived with Pred since boyhood. For three years, he’s been on the lookout for someone brave enough to follow him onto the legendary Moonlit Mountain. The last place he expected to find her was at Pennyflax & Quince. Meanwhile, Master Freydolf faces the challenge of shaping his masterpiece, while the Statuary’s close-knit community deals with new additions, cross-cultural courting traditions, magical meddling, mixed ancestry, and kidnapping.

A wonderful third book
A wonderful third book in this series, where we find little Tupper growing ever so closer to adulthood and the many changes that accompany that. The author has a way of writing about character dynamics, about affection and how bonds are formed and maintained, about what makes every character so very distinct, that never fails to make me fall for every one of them sooner or later. Hearing the last of this third book in the trilogy made me sad, but the tears the apilogue brought were without a doubt tears of joy, so full of affection for these characters that have become so very dear to me over the course of the series. I very much enjoying the change of pace in some parts of this book, but I think what made me enjoy them so much is how the author handled what came out of those events, how they affected everyone, how they all kept growing and changing and forging stronger ties to the others through stressful moments. I will always hold these books close to my heart, and the narrator's incredible work is for sure part of why I was able to enjoy them like this.
I very much look forward to the book coming this month, starting a new branch of the story to follow Farley's adventures with Torio!
