About Loretta Malandro, Ph.D.
Loretta Malandro is president of Malandro Communication, Inc., specializing in sales and marketing communication programs. Her firm's client list includes such companies as IBM, Amdahl, Texas Instruments, B.F. Goodrich, the American Bar Association, Rohm and Haas, and Digital Equipment. Through years of research, Malandro Communication has identified the characteristics of top sales producers that allow them to achieve high levels of excellence. These characteristics are translated into training designed to meet the demands of a changing marketplace. Listed in Who's Who Among American Women, Loretta Malandro received her Ph.D. in communication theory and research from Florida State University and completed her undergraduate work at Kent State University. She served on the faculties of Florida State University and Arizona State University for six years. As a director of communication and professional development in the newspaper industry, she developed and conducted sales training programs. She was on the first international debate team sponsored by the Speech Communication Association and the U.S. government to tour the Soviet Union.
