The city of the gods. Elantris once stood as the symbol of all that is beautiful. A sprawling metropolis of unrivaled grandeur, it was a symbol of power and strength, built to be as imposing as it was magnificent.
The only thing more glorious than the city itself was its inhabitants, godlike beings, with silvery skin and hair of the purest, flowing white. Able to create powerful magics with a mere wave of their hands, the Elantrians were able to heal mortal wounds and create any object they desired. To be an Elantrian was to be without sickness, without pain, and without want.
And anyone could become a god. Through a process known as the "Shaod", a normal person could go to bed one night and awake the next morning to throw away the shackles of mortality and become a being of incomparable power and grace. With Elantris as their beacon, the light inside all humanity was allowed to shine, elevating it to new heights.
But Elantris fell...10 years ago.

Fantastic!
The story is captivating and the narration is awesome. It’s my second time listening through Graphic Audio and I’m not disappointed in the least. It makes the narrative much more real, and it definitely made driving around and cleaning up way more fun!
The book in itself is brilliant, but that’s just regular Sanderson for you.

Excellent !
Pour l'instant mon Brandon Sanderson préféré.
L'histoire et le système de magie sont captivants.
La lecture dramatique est géniale et immersive.
Cela donne vraiment l'impression de suivre un film

Very good
I enjoyed the story, wished it was longer. A bit of a rushed ending. Nice dramatisation, with good voices and music. The music is a bit overpowering at times. Overall, nice book, for fans of the genre.

Captivating

Entre fantasy et intrigues politiques
Graphic Novels a produit une excellente qualité. Les acteurs jouent juste, et les nombreux effets sonores rendent l'histoire vivante.
L'histoire en elle-même n'est pas si originale; il est assez facile d'imaginer ce qui va se passer.
Cependant, mes événements sont bien amenés, et on sent la tension monter au fil de la narration.
Par ailleurs, le côté intrigue mélangé à une magie originale et mystérieuse font de ce livre une lecture/écoute passionnante !
