When the story ‘Buri Ladki’ questions the image and dignity of good girls in our mind, the story ‘Kuchh Awaze Marti Nahi’ takes the emotions of a dying girl on the pages as words. While ‘Jhumki’ deals with the women of high society, 'Kuchh Kisse Afsane Nahi Hote’ shows the relationships and mind-sets of mofussils. The story ‘Colour-Blind’ describes the changing relationships of the family while the story ‘What Is in the Name’ shows the changing form of religion and love.
