Amy Rubinate's performance is impressively multifaceted; she gives Dixie a streetwise sturdiness while making the police gruff and ineffectual, and turns the San Francisco art world into a seamy cesspool of dangerous lowlifes. Rubinate provides depth to the already colorful world in Angel with a Bullet.
