Everyone seems to be accusatory toward the youth and call them a lost generation. However, society may have forgotten that they have contributed to some of the trends that are witnessed among the youth - be it the church, parents, or the politicians. The moral debauchery among the youth cannot be talked about without mention of these things. The youth themselves think that they are not to blame for this predicament. It is too unfortunate that western lifestyle is replacing the traditional family structure in which children would be educated about important issues that affect them. It is apparent that the generation born between 1987 and 1997 is suffering from an identity crisis, thus lacking the confidence to take charge of their destiny.
