Most recently in France in 2019 for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, Lee A. Sweetapple also spent time in Paris for his 20th wedding anniversary. Much of his novel Templar Codes takes place in France. He has served as a US Army intelligence officer, a federal law enforcement officer, and currently, as a defense contractor. Most of his career has been spent in the field of counterterrorism. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He has previously published the novel Vette Head’s Not Dead as well as several historical articles, analytical pieces, and biographies. He lives with his family in the Northern Virginia countryside, outside of Washington, DC.
