Despite this, seven years ago I decided to try my hand at studying once again and embarked on an honours degree course with the UK Open University. Quite by chance having chosen to follow a science route, I quickly realised how fantastic learning can be; how much pleasure can be gained from having an understanding of the World around us; the thrill from discovering how life works at the very smallest and very largest of levels; and I gained an insight into just how much there is we still don't know; and consequently how exciting the future potential is for us all, if only we continue to seek. I am now on an adventure to learn as much as I can cope with; to discover as much as possible about everything around me but especially myself; and to hopefully add something from myself to the real wonder - the sum of mankind's growing knowledge. My first book despite being in the guise of a humorous set of train commuting tales, is a gentle way of encouraging others to want to make a journey of discovery of their own. Enjoy
