The Rim of the World

Two species, bitter enemies, are determined to destroy each other, until they realize they need one another to survive a major catastrophe. As they race through a nebulous space anomaly in the midst of battle, the Terrans and Seneecians are blown through a wormhole to crash land on an uncharted world. A half world. A world containing the remains of a long-dead civilization.

Stranded on a half world in an unknown galaxy, seven Terrans and four Seneecians have declared an uneasy truce. But when three more Seneecians arrive at the temple, including their leader thought to be dead, the balance of power suddenly shifts. The Seneecian D'har immediately assumes command, and he makes it clear the Terrans are now under his jurisdiction. Everyone must obey his rule as he takes full control of their weapons, their lives, and the only female, Kelen. But when Kyber announces that he and Kelen have mated, Kyber is banished from their midsts.

Just when they thought surviving on a strange half world couldn't get more difficult, Kyber, Kelen, and the crew are proven wrong, once again. Aliens and humans living together and surviving - it is possible. But with the food and water going bad, new deadly creatures attacking, and old enemies coming back into play, the odds just keep getting worse. The group knows their days are numbered if they don’t figure something out fast.

On a half-world filled with danger and deception, the only thing keeping them sane and safe was their love. They were no longer Terran and Seenecian. They were brothers-in-arms, fighting against a common foe. With all-new obstacles to face—a new climate, new enemies, and new personal issues for Kelen—the crew has their work cut out for them in this new territory. Already beaten down and broken, their food and water rations dwindling, and constant, nonstop attacks, it’s only a matter of time before they’re defeated.

Finding themselves on yet another new part of the half-world, Kyber and the crew need to escape quickly or risk death, but he can’t find it in himself to care anymore. His Kelen is gone The group is tired, both Terrans and Seneecians. Tired of fighting. Tired of running. Tired of struggling to survive. They have nothing left to give. But if there’s even the tiniest of chances that Kelen is still alive, Kyber will stop at nothing to find her.
