Charity left the Amish during her rumspringa, but now she's beginning to wonder if she made a mistake, even though she is still filled with anger and resentment over what happened to her mother all those years ago. Still working as a midwife, Charity continues to build a friendship with Beth, one of the Amish women currently expecting a baby. At the same time, her relationship with Eric is on a knife edge, as they slowly move apart.
