Oakenfall Chronicles

Above Oakenfall, fireworks light the night sky celebrating one hundred years, since the end of the vicious war that lasted for generations. Against all odds, Oakenfall had managed to free themselves from their dragon overlords. However, with the dragons gone, a band of barbarians unite in the north and seize control of Oakenfall’s sister city, Northholm. As the invading army marches south, the King is running out of options and turns to Darcy Dean, the son of a great war hero. But Darcy is more used to bookkeeping than holding a sword.

Living a life tormented by nightmares of all that he bore witness to, can he battle his inner demons and return to reunite his people and reclaim his homeland?

Three generations have passed since the whispers of demons first spread across the lips of man. Since that first fateful night above Oakenfall, a kingdom has fallen, a god has died, and the streets have begun to pile with bodies, but nothing that Oakenfall has experienced so far can prepare it for what will befall it as Lucien returns from his travels. What started as a routine investigation of a haunted village, an easy task for a Mage Hunter like Lucien, sends him on a voyage that will see him set against old enemies of Oakenfall.
