Enter Darkness

It started with bright lights; a new medical technology, promising to eradicate all human ills. History of blood clots? Cholesterol clogging up the old ticker? There was a nanobot for that. It wasn’t cheap of course, and everyone knew that new technology had bugs in it. But hey, why not let the rich be the guinea pigs for once? Fast-forward a year, and the one percent began dying en masse. The nanobots had evolved to view aging as a virus and were reacting by shutting down the host.

Things may be tranquil at the lake house, but a storm is on the horizon. Bradley and Anna have their work cut out for them; winter is upon them, and they need to be smart if they’re to survive the winter in this dangerous new world, bereft of technology. They work their bodies to the bone to stock up for the winter, and in the process find a little girl, having run away from her family in hiding. Soon, however, it becomes clear that her "family" is anything but conventional and they begin to realize they’ve made some powerful and unhinged enemies.

Cold and alone, Brad finds himself at the harsh frontier of this terrifying new world. He’s lucky to be taken in by a new community of survivors - a militia enclave - and at first, they seem to have a good thing going. Food, supplies, and leadership. Has Brad found his new safe haven?

Against all odds, Brad is alive, and surviving. Through the snow, the biting winds, the rain of bullets, and the thin ice, he forges onward, and fights to recover everything he’s lost.... Having made powerful and unhinged enemies, moving unnoticed is becoming more and more difficult, but after finding a small, but enthralling clue, he realizes he may be close to Anna and Sammy’s trail. As Brad descends further into the madness of the new world, he clings onto hope of finding his loved ones, but a reunion with someone closer to home might be on the cards.

And after darkness, comes first light. In the thrilling conclusion to the Enter Darkness series, Brad must race to save the lives of those closest to him, as well as find and reconcile the previous events with his father. It’s a new dawn, and a new tomorrow. Can Brad save those he loves most? Can he even save himself?
