Matt welcomes Mike from Quicks Barbershop to the show after being introduced by mutual peer, Rajiv Patel. Mike or "Quick" has had a very interesting and inspiring climb through the industry. At a young age, Quick found himself getting caught up in a life that lead him to learn some hard lessons. During his 4 year stint in jail, Quick wanted the barber job immediately. After 1.5 years in, quick got the job. Having the barber experience on in the inside lead him to a new purpose on the outside.
Today, Mike owns Quicks Barbershop in Gilbert, AZ. Quick is doing all of the right things when it comes to maintaining a healthy business & barber/owner relationship. Being unselfish and putting his team in a position to win has always been his priority!
Matt & Quick touch on multiple topics such as Social media, education, industry pet peeves, being a dad, serving the public, resiliency, and much more!
