  • JD is a favored training partner with Fenix. He brings a deep understanding and a Research and Development mindset that is hard to find. In this episode, we discuss his journey through the ranks and how he approaches his training in and out of competition prep. I can personally speak to his quick thinking and modifications during rolling. Whether it's grip fighting, changing directions, or just changing the placement of tension; it's very hard to be a counter-grappler once we begins running his systems.
