  • Résumé

  • An uplifting, anecdotal journey into self love, authenticity, radical change, spirituality and growth. Join Matty Riddel, as he shares stories to entertain, educate and edify about sifting through life and finding a path to one’s true self. Through humour, love and humility, Matty and his guests will bring a conscious effort to connect with each other and ourselves. Together, they will discuss individual passions, evolution in mental, spiritual and emotional health, methods and tools for self love, what ”fun” means, what our feelings tells us and how we can better connect to them...and so much more!! Unpacking trauma, nurturing energy and finding the joys in life that keep us in the light will be a theme, but hilarity and fun are the spirit.

    • 016: Being in your 20's today; Maintaining Authenticity w/o Oversharing; How does Mo MILD OUT?
      Nov 19 2024

In this episode, we keep it on track starting with preparation for the holiday season and disbelief of how damn fast this year has gone.

I ask Mo, what are the stressors of a 20-something today? We discuss the differences (and similarities) between now and 20+ years ago, finding that we're not that different...obviously!

Then, we ask: How can we maintain transparency, honesty and authenticity without oversharing? Can we??

Finally, I posed the question to Morgan: How does she 'MILD OUT'?

It's a fast, fun crew show this week. We hope you enjoy!!

    • 015: Gabby Dougherty, Mantra Media - Standing apart, Building Community, and Forging a Path
      Nov 12 2024

With the rust and dust knocked off, Mo and I are really proud to bring you our latest guest, Gabrielle Dougherty of Mantra Media in NYC.

I met Gabby a few months ago in the same Mastermind program where we're developing our services. She brings an incredible tenacity to the show as she tells her story of shielding herself, controlling the narrative, and building a community for young women to share, excel and thrive of each other's winning energies.

At just 28, Gabby has built her own platform for managing how her clients are perceived through Social Media. She has made inroads for herself in male dominated arenas, like professional sport, helped to build brands and the revenue engines behind them, and set herself apart by being true to her authenticity. Not to mention that her second job out of College was founding her own Social Media Marketing agency - MANTRA MEDIA.

Now, the next frontier for Gabby, is to offer a community for young women to connect, share, and step into their empowerment. Enter - MANTRA METHOD, coming soon.

      Enjoy!

    • 014: Our Father/Daughter dynamic; What's Morgan's path?
      Nov 5 2024

In this crew show, we kick off with a somewhat cold intro and Morgan being upset at me about something she can't exactly recall from an episode months ago. I'm getting strong Phoebe Buffay vibes on this...

Quick maneuvering corrected us and Mo talked about what it was like having me as a dad growing up. We discussed how we both grew up together really; her teaching me HOW to be a dad and what that was like.

Then, we dove into what Mo really wants to do and how she might expand into more creation and collab with myself and others. It's short conversation, but a good one to get us ready for a full schedule of episodes coming up!!

      We hope you enjoy!
