  • It’s time, once again, to strap-up and step into the Insane Asylum, as the guys spend some time with the “All American Storyteller”, Mike Carnes!!

    Mike takes us back to his childhood where he loved entertaining family and friends with his outrageous skits. In fact, he goes into how Monte Python was at the center of it, and how that inspiration would eventually help him with his character development.

    After twenty-years in the IT industry, Mike talks about the transition from the corporate environment to the world of voice acting. Not only does Mike discuss what it takes to be successful, but how to handle the “burn-out” aspect in the industry. 

    We also discuss his journey and coaches who have helped mold Mike into one of the most sought-after narrators in the industry.

    Let’s not forget A Vo's Padded Improv, where Mike travels back to the 70’s, to a little greasy spoon café, and tells us all about their breakfast menu!!
