  • In this episode we talk with Dr. Michele Coleman, PhD, LMFT. Dr. Coleman is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of The Attachment Healing Center, a division of Inner Guidance, LC, a community mental health agency in New Mexico.


    Through outpatient treatment and trainings her agency focuses on helping parents and professionals meet the attachment needs of children who have been abused or neglected. Her agency serves children and birth, foster, adoptive and kinship care families. Dr. Coleman is also the parent of a birth child, three adoptive children and one stepchild. She is certified in Interpersonal Neurobiology and has developed a model of treating attachment trauma Healing in Resonance, based on the science of changing the brain. Dr. Coleman is also a certified HeartMath trainer.
