He eloquently outlines how decisions are made from people with no 'skin in the game’ because there is a lack of communication between who makes the decisions in a school versus who’s working with students on a daily basis.

Hallie, Joanna, and Zach discuss the incredible resilience of students and the importance of creating communities within the classroom. They are noticing the deep compassion children have during difficult times.

He describes how an under-shared benefit of being part of the union is the feeling of being empowered because we work towards something bigger than ourselves.
