    • Ep. 17 "Why can't you be your own cheerleader?" with Kit Patel
      Oct 25 2024

On today’s episode I sat down and talked with Kit Patel. Kit is the kind of guy you can't help but instantly love when you first meet him. He's got great energy, easy going vibe, and he’s simply a great conversationalist. All of these traits made for a super fun and insightful interview. During our conversation Kit and I dug deep into his recent exploration of personal growth. He shared about how he is trying to combat the hard feelings of seeking external validation and finish line syndrome. He has found that refocusing on the small wins along the way is a great way to stay grounded and connected to everyday life instead of constantly thinking about what's next. This conversation ended up being full of little gems of advice and information from someone who has done a great job working on reflection and growth recently. As always I hope this episode inspires you to do it scared, enjoy!

    • Ep. 16 "I'm always going to go after whatever I want in life" - with Spence Hartnett
      Oct 10 2024

On today’s episode I caught up with Spence Hartnett. I want to start by providing a trigger warning for the content of this episode. Within this interview we’ll be discussing important but sensitive topics of depression and suicidal ideation. Spence was willing to sit down and talk about all aspects of this life from his career in video game design to his struggles in his mental health. I understand this can be a sensitive topic for listeners, that being said Spence and I both believe in trying to create a space where tough topics can be shared and we can provide support for each other. I also want to highlight the fact that this episode about Spence is about so much more than just his mental health struggles. He has an incredible job at EA sports and it was so fun to interview him about a career field I know nothing about! Without further ado as always I hope this episode inspires you to do it scared, enjoy!
