    • Flowers Nightless Forever
      Dec 6 2020
For this month's episode, the person we have joining us can be described in two words: that bitch! Local black trans woman producer, rapper fairy girl Flowers Forever is on to chat about her approach towards her musical production process, and how she puts that fairy touch on it. She dived deep on her perspective of being a local queer in the local music scene, along with creating as a black trans fem & her passion for music. We’ll be diving into their Fairy fashion, the story of her name, how she grew into embracing her queer identity & building that with art. Flowers gives us a full scope on her connection with identity. This discussion is stimulating with self introspection to grow, bloom, blossom into our own recognition. We even get to know her favorite flower with how it feels to be a Taurus. This episode we’ll hear how Flowers used her identity to upack her feelings with art. The link of identity & creation is the beauty we find in black queer joy. Seeing ourselves through art is sacred and allows us to sync with who we see in the mirror. Listen with your heart with art in the forefront of your mind. Enjoy!

    • Mikey Cody Apollo
      Nov 10 2020
On this month's episode, we have local powerhouse writer Mikey Cody Apollo on the show to discuss her thoughts and feelings as a queer black writer in Milwaukee & how she navigates COVID, being a black woman in today’s climate, and how she feels on her friendships and relationships. We’ll be opening our hearts to share the way we feel as we relate to words. This discussion is all smiles that will make you wanna call your friends to tell them you love them after you're done listening. Our discussions range from our mutual confusion about Tyler Perry & our least favorite words. Sit back, relax & prepare to be moved by words. Enjoy!
