  • What will we do when students don’t learn? There is a huge gap in knowing about practices that will help marginalized students accelerate their learning and actually implementing these practices to create a bigger impact in the classroom. 

    Zaretta Hammond is a national consultant and author of Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain. She has been supporting schools in deepening their understanding and application of culturally responsive practices for the past 20 years. In this episode, she is sharing how she helps equip and empower coaches with the information needed to manage change for equity, the missing piece in knowing strategy and what is actually being implemented, and the difference in instructional decision making and execution.
