À propos de cette écoute
The Sky is Red was created to encourage children to stand up for what they believe and to remain confident enough to trust themselves, even when faced with pressure not to. Self-trust is a superpower!
Teaching children to trust themselves builds their self-confidence and self-esteem, and is the best way to protect them from gaslighting, manipulation, and peer pressure. There are situations that can come up throughout our lives where our inner strength is challenged, and we are pressured to ignore our feelings or what we know to be true. The Sky is Red paints an age appropriate clear picture as to why it is so important and rewarding to trust yourself.
In The Sky is Red, Mr. Zippity wishes to become a superhero, so he sets out on a quest to get his wish granted by the Mystical Magical Fairy.
When she gives him a test to ensure that he will use his powers for good, he begins the journey to make his wish come true.
Along the way, Mr. Zippity tries to convince others to believe what he is telling them, even though they can clearly see with their own eyes that what he is saying it is not true.
Will the Mystical Magical Fairy grant Mr. Zippity's wish to become a superhero? Or will he learn a big lesson about what it truly means to be powerful?
Praised by therapists, teachers, and parents all over the globe, The Sky is Red will warm your heart while teaching one of the most important life lessons.
