À propos de cette écoute
Two families' lives are turned upside down when a man from Nazareth enters the region along the Sea of Galilee, teaching, healing, and performing great miracles. The religious leadership is at odds with the stranger. Yet, even they will be confronted with having to decide whether he is who he claims to be. All of their decisions will be the difference between life and death.
Can the ancient scriptures from the book of Isaiah provide the answers as is pointed out by a scribe from the synagogue in Capernaum?
Among the tyranny of the Roman occupation, the answers are unclear, but the word of God, of which he promised to preserve from generation to generation, is very clear.
"Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past, he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future, he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan - The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." (Isaiah 9:1)
