Very personal and intimate story
I really enjoyed this audiobook that made me discover the very real struggles faced by the actor behind my favorite friends character… it made me like the character even more as I discovered a broken but rebuilt person that doesn’t shy away from his mistakes and errors. Poignant
It is very something special to hear Matthew Perry expressing and telling the story of his journey through addiction, his relationships, his demons and his struggles in life. He never falls into self pity, on the contrary, he manages to tell his story almost with a certain distance and from time to time, adds a joke here and there, showing all of this did not stain his spirit nor his wittiness.
It really feels like knowing him for real. Hopefully, this book can also be a beacon of light in the life of those who're going through similar struggles.
